Hola, soy Nikki!

I am the creator and founder of Roquette Imports. Ever since I was little, my head was stuck in between the pages of my world atlas. Tracing over the mountain ranges with my fingers, I wanted to learn about every part of the world. The older I got and the more I traveled, the more I realized how wine is so much more than a grape. Wine is people, wine is place, wine is a reflection of the world.

After living all across the United States and Europe — I relocated to Mexico City, Mexico. This is when I noticed a gap. We had some amazing natural wines, but we didn’t have access to the feelings I had around wine abroad. So I decided to change that.

With my learnings from spending summers in vineyards getting my hands dirty, learning from those who grew the grapes and hearing their stories, I knew I wanted to connect the dots back to Mexico somehow.

Through hours spent at the SAT, countless meetings with logistics teams and import officers, I was able to import all of my favorite wines and am hopeful I can share their stories, create community and have a good time.
